Who am I?​

Hello, my name is LeeAnn Hagopian.  I am about to finish my Masters in Library and Information Sciences through the University of South Florida.  As a student of library and information sciences, I strive to preserve, disseminate, and increase awareness of knowledge for those who desire access and could benefit from the information.

I believe that stories hold power.  They can convey emotions, convey experiences, and convey information.

I believe in interdisciplinary practice.  The more knowledge people have in various fields, the more people can use information from one field to advance another.

I believe everyone should be exposed to different cultures, be it within their neighborhood or on the other side of the world.  By interacting and listening to other people, more knowledge can be gained.

I eagerly look forward to what more I can learn in the future, not only relating to this profession, but also as a result of this profession I have chosen - learning from the material as I organize and locate resources for others.
